Legal Deputy Manager

How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Monitoring regulations, laws and regulators’ guidelines and reporting them to management and various departments and advising where required about the impact of such regulations on the company’s operations
  • Reviewing and drafting all types of agreements (including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, software license agreements, agency agreements, brokerage agreements, procurement agreements, lease contracts, employment and settlement agreements)
  • Supporting departments with respect to their daily business queries and long-term projects
  • Supporting business stakeholders related to new business models and distribution lines
  • Preparing board resolutions, meeting minutes and making necessary notifications to regulators
  • Fulfilling all steps required for general assembly meeting and following up registry process 
  • Preparing monthly & quarterly reports for the various stakeholders
  • Coordinating the management of lawsuits and Insurance Arbitration Commission’s and Consumer Arbitration Boards’ applications and supervising outsourced lawyers

 

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law 
  • 5+ years of legal experience as an in-house counsel or in a top tier law firm 
  • Experience in insurance industry or a multinational company is a plus
  • A good understanding of insurance law, commercial law, consumer law, contract law and labor law
  • Strong organizational and priority setting skills, being able to work on various projects at the same time
  • Being able to work as part of a team but also capable of working independently, as required
  • Effectively managing relationships with external counsel, as required
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Fluent English both in speaking and writing
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Advanced level of MS Office programs
