JOB PURPOSE:

The Data Analytics and QA Officer will ensure that the data remains accurate and reliable across the department, contributing to the development of reports and dashboards that support informed decision making. The role will also provide support in control activities. The role is ideal for someone with around one/two years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or quality assurance who is eager to expand their skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams and grow within a dynamic environment.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and automating dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or other platforms.
  • Perform extraction, transformation, and validation of data from internal systems and databases
  • Translate data into actionable insights to support business decisions across Operations and Business teams.
  • Develop technical skills and gain experience with data quality frameworks, ETL processes or data warehousing.
  • Conduct QA reviews of datasets, reports, and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with internal controls.
  • Support QA procedures documentation and adherence to governance standards.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and the Operations controls Lead to streamline processes.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Degree in MIS, Business Computing, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or any related field
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Intelligence Tools (Power BI)
  • Knowledge in Power Platform is a plus (Power App/Automate and Power BI)
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics
  • Knowledge in the insurance industry is a plus
