MetLife is among the largest global providers of insurance, annuities, and employee benefit programs, with 90 million customers in over 60 countries. Currently we are searching for a new team member at Compliance department — Compliance specialist.
Main areas of focus:
- Tracking changes in legislation, analyzing and communicating impact and upcoming changes with relevant stakeholders;
- AML and sanctions:
- Conducting customer due diligence;
- Analysis of transactions that may be considered suspicious;
- Implementation and compliance with sanctions legislation;
- Ensuring the identification, risk assessment and approval of politically exposed persons;
- Preparation of regulatory AML reports;
- Updating AML/CFT documentation, communicating relevant changes to business.
- Due diligence of counterparties (including, but not limited to, sanctions and reputational risks);
- Assisting businesses in identifying compliance risks in their processes and ensuring the implementation of effective controls;
- Work on identifying and documenting conflicts of interest;
- Support and implementation of personal data protection standards;
- Development and implementation of new policies and procedures;
- Performing Testing & Monitoring procedures according to approved plan;
- Supporting Non-Financial Risk Assessment (NFRA) process – communicating with the business, helping to identify and assess risks and controls, verify correctness of risk ratings by ensuring NFRA procedure is followed in full.
- Risk events – helping business to properly identify, assess and register risk events.
