The Team You Will Join 

The Broker Distribution Manager leads a dynamic team within MetLife's broker distribution channel, which is essential to the company's sales strategy. This team, comprising approximately 12 salespeople and 2 supervisors, is responsible for executing the channel strategy, driving results, and maintaining team motivation. Situated within the broader face-to-face distribution sector, the team plays a crucial role in expanding MetLife's market coverage and ensuring the profitability of MetLife products across Portugal.

You’ll collaborate closely with the F2F Head of Distribution in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

The Opportunity 

The Broker Distribution Manager is a leader responsible for the Channel Strategy, Results, and Team's Motivation. This position is needed to ensure that MetLife effectively penetrates the market, maintains competitive advantage, and achieves its sales targets. By leading a dynamic team, the Broker Distribution Manager drives the execution of the channel strategy, ensuring that sales goals are met and surpassed.

This role is crucial to the prosperity and profitability of MetLife in Portugal, contributing to the increased coverage of MetLife products that help build a more confident future for our customers and business partners.

• Coordinate the efforts of 2 supervisors and 14 salespeople.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

• Experience of leading successful and results focused sales teams
• Nationwide experience
• Proven experience of managing highly diverse teams
• B2B2C and or retail financial service experience
• Degree in management or another relevant subject such as Psychology  
• English speaker
• Native Portuguese speaker.
