At the heart of the MetLife culture lies a passion for people. We are individuals hired not just for what we can do on our own, but for how we contribute to the whole. With operations in more than 40 markets and leading positions across the globe, MetLife is building a workforce of diverse and empowered voices that all belong.
- Green Environment: MetLife was the first U.S.-based insurer to achieve carbon neutrality in 2016, and we’ve maintained this status every year since. Our offices in Cary are LEED platinum certified, the highest level of distinction awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council. Also, in partnership with Bee Downtown, we installed beehives at our campus to complete the largest healthy ‘honeybee corridor’ in the U.S.
- Caring for Community: MetLife Foundation and MetLife volunteers partner to support organizations such as Habitat for Humanity of Wake County and Rise Against Hunger to assist with construction of affordable housing and food distribution to children and families in need globally.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: The Cary campus is home to multiple employee-led inclusion groups which support families, LGBTQ, veterans, multiculturalism, generations, diverse abilities and women at MetLife. We also host the annual female-focused Triangle Tech X conference, a global event hosted locally that explores the importance of breaking down barriers, bridging gaps and future-proofing STEM roles for women.
