This is an integral role within MetLife’s Corporate Systems Technology organization supporting the Employee Experience (EE) organization which touches every employee of MetLife. This is an exciting time to join the Corporate Systems Technology organization as we collaborate with business leaders and continue to transform MetLife’s Employees Experience.

 

 The Opportunity 

The Employee Experience (EE) team consists of several technology focused teams supporting the enterprise. The selected candidate will manage EE Agile practices across all teams and be responsible for Senior Level product and process reporting for all teams within our portfolio.
 
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
  • Establish knowledge of business challenges and priorities to identify opportunities and recommend technical solutions with action plans that improve ongoing business operation and overall employee experience in ways that add value to MetLife 
  • Support Product Owner in leading requirement analysis and decomposition, design, internal testing, and the creation of user stories
  • Collaborate across EE stakeholders and functional teams to recommend solutions that deliver successful digital capabilities using an agile approach and SAFe methodologies
  • Provide leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, promoting its vision through design and development to ensure project requirements are satisfied
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized support and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations
  • Fosters a continuous improvement mindset and enjoys exploring innovative enhancement opportunities

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of experience in the Business Analyst role for software development 
  • Extensive experience in designing solutions for business challenges - Demonstrated ability to work with others to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful user stories and specifications
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires the individual to simultaneously manage several projects, with tight deadlines, while paying attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to articulate and present ideas and solutions in clear and concise fashion to business partners, colleagues, and senior business leaders
 What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
  • Excellent problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to effectively work through abstract concepts
  • Demonstrable experience of managing large, complex IT projects
  • Working experience with Power BI or other data visualization and analytics tools is a plus
  • Working experience with Azure DevOps (AZDO) or other business requirement tools
  • Self-motivated with curiosity to understand and investigate what is possible 
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments

The salary range for applicants for this position is $95,000-$118,000.
