The Team You Will Join:
Central European Product team is covering markets in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Ukraine. The team manages a wide range of areas including Product management, market analyses, Pricing, Profit testing and other actuarial analyses, Product maintenance and review.
The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to broaden both technical as well as business knowledge and skills.
Product actuary is a highly valued position allowing the person to manifest his/her technical skills while being close to business and decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for Pricing and profit testing of (mainly) Bulgarian products, technical analyses (assumption studies etc.) market overview, product development process, support of product implementation as well as various other ad-hoc tasks;
- You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Financial, Legal, IT and Operations teams in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard;
- You will be close to Bulgarian management team, while being part of international team of Product experts and actuaries.
In order to be a good fit, you’ll have to bring to the table:
- technical background (degree in Actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or other relevant field);
- advanced use of MS Office tools (including VBA macros);
- good communication skills and business-oriented mindset;
- fluency in English and Bulgarian;
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills):
- around 2-3 of years of experience in Actuarial or Product area in an Insurance industry (preferrably Life insurance);
- basic knowledge of actuarial (eg. Moses) and/or data software/tools (SQL, Python, R)
