The Team You Will Join
The Agencies Team is dedicated to developing new business by focusing on and working with a group of “Agencies” who are self-employed professionals selling MetLife insurance products (Individual Protection) from within their MetLife branded premises/stores - managed by experienced Agent Managers. This role implies strong soft skills and team leadership experience. Your main mission will be to coach and train Agent Managers in the effective recruitment of sales agents, setting beneficial and positive KPI´s along with training Agent Managers in different leadership areas. This position reports directly to the AVP & Head of F2F Portugal Iberia.

The National Sales Manager is responsible for providing all necessary direction, management, and support to achieve the required & expected results in accordance with the Company’s standards across Portugal. The National Sales Manager will work closely with senior management in defining the distribution channel strategy and its implementation.
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Provide all necessary direction, management and support to achieve the required & expected results in accordance with the Company’s standards;
- Coordinate a group of Agencies in Portugal, developing the business and the sales network;
- Participate in the definition of the distribution channel strategy and its implementation;
- Identify opportunities for expansion and implementation of action plans.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Good level of English, fluent/native Portuguese speaker
- Educated to degree level or above
- Experience in the insurance industry
- Leadership experience minimum 10 years.
