Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Audit, Gulf & Levant, in the detailed planning and execution of audit engagements in line with MetLife Internal Audit’s methodology;
• Maintain and update audit information on the audit management tool (Open Pages) in line with departmental standards;
• Prepare high-quality reports of audit findings and effectively communicates these findings and insights to key stakeholders, working with management to develop appropriate remedial actions;
• Track and test the closure of open audit issues;
• Maintain effective and productive working relationships with key business contacts, ensuring that business knowledge is kept up to date;
• Complete all regulator required audit activities and reporting in line with stated timelines and quality standards.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Certified as a CPA, CIA, ACA or ACCA designation. ACAMs certification is required;
• 5+ years audit experience - public accounting and insurance industry experience preferred;
• Understanding, knowledge, and demonstrable experience of the full audit lifecycle from planning to close out, including documentation, report writing, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; 
• Competent knowledge of international audit standards;
• Fluent spoken and written English, with excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Data analytics skills are beneficial.
