Our IT team is growing, we are currently seeking to recruit an IT Infrastructure Administrator, to be based at our Head Offices in Nicosia to support the IT Infrastructure Lead. 

 

The Opportunity 

 

The IT Infrastructure Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities will include providing technical support to end-users, managing network and server environments, and maintaining overall system functionality. The position requires a strong background in IT support and systems administration, with a focus on problem-solving and proactive technology management. 


How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

Technical Support: 

  • Deliver first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems; install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. 
  • Assist with onboarding processes for new employees. 

Systems Administration: 

  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments for optimal performance and availability. 
  • Monitor network performance, addressing bottlenecks and connectivity issues. 
  • Implement security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup solutions. 
  • Conduct regular system updates, patches, and backups; manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights per company policies. 

Infrastructure Management: 

  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless access points). 
  • Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects (system upgrades, migrations, implementations). 
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment and service procurement. 

Documentation and Training: 

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users. 


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server, CCNA, VMware) are considered a plus. 
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in IT support and systems administration roles. 
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems
  • Familiar with network protocols and hardware components. 
  • Knowledge of cloud services and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Microsoft 365, Veeam). 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users. 
  • Proficient in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
