This position uses cutting edge analytics to drive insights from members of our corporate clients to price and innovate products for the future. The successful candidate will also play a key role in tender projects for new business opportunities.

Principal Responsibilities: 

 

  • Pricing and experience analysis on existing and new business tenders.
  • Analysing datasets to derive insights which will drive future product innovation.
  • Developing analytical capabilities with new tools, softwares.
  • Preparing client presentations, providing valuable pricing insights to Industry Superannuation Fund executives/trustees.
  • Supporting the development of new product designs by providing actuarial judgement.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with line of business colleagues to support insurances processes.
  • Facilitating the engagement and management of reinsurance partnerships.
  • Developing thorough knowledge of the product, market and regulatory environment in Australia.
  • Developing, sharing knowledge and skills with actuaries and other colleagues.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

 

  • Excellent modelling and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communications (oral and written).
  • Self-reliant team player with ability to collaborate with others.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

 

Qualification Required:

 

  • Degree in Actuarial Sciences, mathematics or related field.
  • Desire to attain an actuarial qualification.
