MetLife is looking for passionate Dental Network Retention Specialists to join the teams in the following Regions:


Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CO, NE, KS, IA, MO, WI, IL)

Southwest (CA, NV, UT, AZ, NM, OK)

Central (ND, SD, MN, TX, AR, LA, MS, MI, IN, OH)

Northeast (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, NY, PA, NJ, MD, DE)

Southeast  (FL, GA, AL, SC, NC, TN, KY, VA, WV, DC)



Job Summary:

The Network Retention Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with our network of dental providers. The position focuses on retention strategies, ensuring provider satisfaction, and addressing concerns the providers may have. The retention specialist will work closely with the providers to understand their needs, facilitate communication between the provider and the organization, and implement initiatives designed to foster long-term relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Provider relationship management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing dentists in the network to ensure their satisfaction and retention

·         Retention Strategies: develop and implement proactive strategies to improve provider engagement and retention rates with existing network providers.

·         Serve as a point of contact for existing network dentists and their staff, addressing concerns, fee reviews, and providing support as needed to resolve escalated issues.

·         Monitor and analyze provider retention metrics, identify trends and areas of need of improvement. Compile results and provide findings and recommendations to management as needed.

·         Create and provide training/educational materials and resources for providers, educate them on MetLife services available; EFT/ERA Enrollment, MetDental, operational processes, and best practices to enhance their experience with us.

·         Regularly solicit feedback from providers about our network services, utilizing surveys, one-on-one and onsite visits to gauge satisfaction and gather insight for improvements

·         Work closely with internal partners such as operations, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment on retention initiatives and address provider needs effectively.

·         Support all dental product initiatives that pertain to dental network

·         Support all credentialing/re-credentialing initiatives to ensure providers comply with re-credentialing requirements

·         Ensure all policies and procedures related to provider retention are in compliance with organization and regulatory standards.

·         Manage relationship with assigned regional DSO’s and large group clinics.

·         Partner with NDS on fee negotiations for existing network dentists

·         Travel Required

·         Performs other duties as assigned or required


Experience and Skills Required:

  • 3+ years plus experience of relevant business experience working in the dental industry.
  • Strong relationship building and effective communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel- experience with Pivot tables, reading and creating excel spreadsheets and internal tools such as financial retention tools.
  • Proficient in working in a CRM- customer relationship management tool such as Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications ie: Word, Power Point, and Excel


Preferred: 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (HS Diploma or equivalent required)
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills are required, and knowledge of dental office practice management preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Works well in a team environment/excellent interpersonal skill
 

The salary range for applicants for this position is 56,700-83,000..
