Position Summary

Detail-oriented Manual Tester in executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality through thorough functional and regression testing.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

·        Requirement analysis

·        Testing knowledge – writing manual test cases, scenarios, preparing test plans

·        Experience in Testing Methodologies- Agile

·        Testing (functional, Integration, System, UAT, Regression),

·        Defect Management – Azure

·        Exposure in Mainframe & Web based applications

·        Proficient in MS Office

·        Basic knowledge of Java

Responsibilities:

·        Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders

·        Strong understanding of business requirements to define technical and process documents.

·        Collaborate with Business & developer to develop Test Plan

·        Requirement analysis & ambiguity review

·        Support in estimation

·        Create manual test scenarios / test cases

·        Execute test cases

·        Logging Defects and maintaining the Defect Management

·        Test Reporting

·        Risk & mitigation planning

·        Support during post release review

·        Experience in SDLC & STLC

·        Should be able to work independently without supervision; any previous experience demonstrates this will be an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

Preferably B. Tech Graduate in Computer Applications / Computer Science

Experience

Minimum 0-2 years of experience in Manual Testing

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

Technical (Must have):

• Requirement analysis
• Testing knowledge – writing manual test cases, scenarios, preparing test plans
• Experience in Testing Methodologies- Waterfall / Agile
• Testing (functional, Integration, System, UAT, Regression),
• Defect Management – Azure
• Exposure in Mainframe & Web based applications
• Proficient in MS Office
• Basic knowledge of Java

Technical (Good to have):

·        Understanding of Agile Methodology
