The Marketing Services Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of MetLife's marketing campaigns, events and initiatives across the Super, Corporate and Retail channels. Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Services Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of MetLife's marketing campaigns, events and initiatives across the Super, Corporate and Retail channels. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple projects, collaborate with various departments, and ensure that all activities align with MetLife's strategic goals and brand standards.
Marketing Campaigns and Promotions
Support the Marketing and Member Engagement Managers in the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives, including content creation, which promotes MetLife's products, services, people and events, across email, web, social media, and other promotional material.
Workflow Management
Support the effective delivery of a workflow management process across the Customer & Marketing team, which includes creating transparency and visibility across all activities and initiatives being worked on by the team in one centralised location.
Marketing Services
Support the review, design and optimisation of collateral requested by internal stakeholders (via our Customer & Marketing digital front door), including product documents, tender material, award submissions, external presentations, and event invites, ensuring appropriate due diligence is conducted and adherence to brand guidelines.
Event Planning and Execution
Assist in the planning and execution of MetLife's external events, including conferences, webinars, and sponsorships. Coordinate logistics, speaker arrangements, manage event timelines, monitor budgets, and prepare post-event reporting to support continuous improvement. This may involve leaning in and supporting on internal events at times.
Vendor Management
Oversee and coordinate relationships with external vendors and suppliers as it relates to activities marketing campaigns, events and initiatives. Ensure all vendors are appropriately onboarded and regularly reviewed from a legal, risk and compliance perspective, and that services are delivered as agreed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross functional collaboration across MetLife Australia, as well as external vendors, clients and prospects.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Required
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Workflow Management Platforms.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Usage of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create and update marketing collateral, documents and forms.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Budget planning and allocation.
- Prior experience in insurance, superannuation or financial services a plus.
