The Team You Will Join

You will be part of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team within Procurement Operations at MetLife LATAM.


This team plays a critical role in assessing, monitoring, and managing supplier risk across the sourcing and procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and global risk standards.

The team works closely with sourcing, compliance, information security, and regional stakeholders to ensure third-party relationships are onboarded, maintained, and monitored in a consistent, transparent, and risk-aware manner across all LATAM countries.

The function supports informed decision-making, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in supplier governance.


The Opportunity

The Third Party Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of third-party risk activities within the region. This includes coordinating supplier due diligence, monitoring risk assessments, supporting issue remediation, and ensuring adherence to global and regional TPRM policies and procedures.

This role is essential to maintaining strong governance over supplier relationships and enabling procurement teams to operate efficiently while meeting risk and compliance standards.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously. You will leverage risk management platforms, procurement systems, and reporting tools to track supplier risk status, ensure data accuracy, and support timely resolution of risk-related actions.

You’ll collaborate closely with sourcing managers, procurement operations teams, legal, compliance, information security, and regional risk stakeholders to support the end-to-end third-party risk lifecycle in an environment where collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement are core values.


How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

• Support the execution of third-party risk management activities for suppliers across LATAM, including risk assessments, periodic reviews, and termination processes.
• Coordinate and monitor supplier due diligence activities, ensuring required documentation, questionnaires, and assessments are completed in line with TPRM standards.
• Track and maintain supplier risk status, issues, and remediation plans using designated risk management and procurement platforms.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of third-party risk data across systems and reports.
• Generate and maintain operational reports and metrics related to supplier risk, compliance status, and assessment progress for regional stakeholders.
• Support procurement and sourcing teams by providing guidance on third-party risk requirements during sourcing and contracting processes.
• Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of regional TPRM procedures and controls aligned with global policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve risk findings and support timely supplier approvals.
• Actively participate in regional initiatives related to supplier governance, risk reporting, and process optimization.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

• Interest in learning about third-party risk management, supplier governance, and procurement processes.
• Willingness to become familiar with procurement and risk management platforms, with support and training.
• Basic experience working with data or reports, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, ability to learn reporting or ticketing tools as part of the role.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow processes and guidelines consistently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
• High attention to detail to support compliance with policies and risk standards.
• A proactive, service-oriented attitude, curiosity to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.

• Intermediate or advanced English level.


What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

• Suggested 1–2 years of experience in third-party risk management, procurement operations, compliance, or supplier management.
• Experience supporting regional or global risk, compliance, or procurement functions in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance concepts or frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Interest in digital risk management and procurement optimization initiatives.
• Intermediate or advanced English level is required; Portuguese is a plus.
