Bancassurance team in Milan
The Bancassurance Capability Manager, in coordination with the Bancassurance Director, is responsible for improving and maximizing existing partnerships by accelerating key Bancassurance projects that have a decisive impact on business growth and on strengthening MetLife’s strategic positioning in the Bancassurance and Partnership environment.
The Bancassurance Capability Manager is also in charge of monitoring the performance management of the Bancassurance team and partners, as well as coordinating priorities with the objective of maximizing commercial development opportunities in both cross-sell and new business.
- Monitoring and benchmarking the market with the goal of overseeing and strengthening MetLife’s positioning by interacting with all corporate divisions and enabling continuous product/process alignment.
- Accelerating growth-driving projects (e.g., bill protection for non-financial corporations, critical illness as an expansion into the banking world, embedded digital solutions, etc.).
- Managing the performance of the Bancassurance team in terms of penetration, sales, average premiums, deviations from plan and PY, in order to anticipate potential trends and exceed assigned budgets.
- Analyzing market trends in products and competitor initiatives to improve commercial strategies.
- Supporting the Bancassurance team in identifying tactical activities aimed at achieving assigned goals.
- Contributing to the implementation of new partnerships in coordination with Sales and other corporate divisions.
- Coordinating priorities across the Bancassurance team
- Master’s degree, preferably in economics
- At least 2–3 years of previous experience in banking, brokerage, or insurance companies
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong results orientation and commercial mindset
