Job Summary
Japan IT audit head has overall responsibility for the delivery and management of Japan IT audits. He/she should support and report the Japan Chief Auditor and Head of Asia IT audit for all Japan IT audit activities and resources related matters.
<Responsibilities>
・ Perform risk assessment and develop Japan IT Audit plan by considering the business and/or regulatory requirements.
・ Manage, coach, and guide Japan IT audit resources and support individual career and capability growth
・Establish trust relationships with senior leadership and control function partners, and regulators.
・ Attend and provide updates/report to relevant executive meetings and Committees as appropriate.
・ Understand and apply MetLife audit methodology to improve the audit process and execution.
・ Provide proactive and relevant management reporting of audit portfolio activities and support Japan Chief Auditor and Head of Asia IT auditor.
<Requirements>
■Experience:
・ 15+ years’ experience in Information Technology or in auditing IT fields including emerging risks areas (cybersecurity, AI, data, IT platforms, application development, or IT risk management.)
・ People management and collaboration with local, regional, and global cross-function teams.
■Skills:
・ IT experts who understand IT infrastructure, application development, project management and associated IT risks including emerging technologies (cybersecurity, AI/Data, Agile, API, and Cloud)
・ Good risk assessment skill on IT risks, and provide oversight of audit plan covering identified risks, make effective and efficient use of audit resources.
・ Project and resource management skills for audit execution based on the company audit methodology to provide an independent assessment of the control environment.
・ Skills to analyze and assess the impact of audit findings and recommendations and assess effectiveness of key action plans to resolve control issues or risks.
・ Coordination of audit activities with region/global/external auditors, provides appropriate direct assistance and identifies opportunities for audit reliance.
・ Writing skills to prepare concise audit reports to senior managers for their easy understanding.
・ Communication skills to lead discussions with Senior Management.
・ People management skills to managing the team, including supervision and direction to staff, providing coaching on career development guidance, and actively engaging in the performance management process.
Preferable:
・ CIA, CISA, CISSP, PMP, or IT audit relevant certifications
・Proficient with data analysis tools and techniques such as Excel/Alteryx//Power BI or other tools
・ Finance or insurance industry experience

・Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Economics, Finance or related field of study
