The Team You Will Join 

 

At MetLife Portugal, the Direct Sales Force role is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a team of exclusive sales consultants. This Direct Sales Force / Agency Sales Manager position also acts as a coach, fostering growth and performance within the sales force. 

 

The Opportunity 

 

This Direct Sales Force / Agency Sales Manager position presents a distinctive opportunity for an Agency Sales Manager to become part of a dynamic, results-driven team committed to surpassing both quantitative and qualitative objectives.  

From the very first contact with potential consultants, you will be key in creating a meaningful and impactful development experience.

How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Implement the strategy and provide the management and support needed to achieve expected results in line with company standards. 
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and coach sales consultants. 
  • Identify and develop agents with leadership potential. 
  • Motivate and manage the sales force to ensure commitment to agency targets. 
  • Ensure monitoring processes are in place to support the effective execution of daily activities. 


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • University degree. 
  • Minimum of 3 years, experience in sales roles, with proven success in managing, coaching, and motivating sales teams, especially in face-to-face distribution. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • High level of proactivity, problem-solving ability, and strategic thinking. 
  • Fluent in Portuguese spoken and written as well as English. 


What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
