The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend services and frontend applications, while deploying, monitoring, and scaling cloud-native workloads in support of internal operations and end customers across regional and global teams. In this role, the candidate will help deliver scalable digital solutions, contribute to product discovery, and collaborate closely with peers and stakeholders in an agile, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in .NET (C#, .NET 8+) exposing REST APIs, orchestrated through YARP as our reverse proxy and API gateway layer.
• Develop and evolve React applications consumed by both internal operations and end customers.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), applying GitOps and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Own your CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, including test automation, security scans, and progressive deployments.
• Apply AI-first practices: use Copilot, Claude, and internal LLM tooling to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and code review.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinements, retros) and contribute to product discovery alongside PMs and designers.
• Collaborate in English with peers, stakeholders, and regional/global teams.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Solid hands-on expertise with .NET / C#, REST API design, and React (hooks, TypeScript, state management).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Azure Cloud (AKS, App Configuration, Key Vault, Service Bus or similar).
• Experience with Git/GitHub workflows, pull request discipline, and CI/CD pipelines.
• DevOps mindset: observability, secrets management, and understanding of what "production-ready" actually means.
• English B2+ spoken and written — able to present in meetings, write technical docs, and pair-program with non-Spanish speakers.
• AI-first mindset — uses AI tools daily and can talk about what works, what doesn't, and what's overhyped.
• Comfort working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous experience in insurance, banking, fintech, insurtech, or regulated environments.
• Hands-on with YARP specifically, or other API gateways (Kong, APIM, Ocelot).
• Microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development workflows in real projects.
