Summary of Role:
This role provides product resources for both internal and external partners and works extensively with MetLife’s Center of Excellence (COE), Implementation, Service, Third Party Activation, Vendor Management and NTT operational teams. Working closely with partners is critical to being successful in the role.
The person in this position must possess a working knowledge of Whole Life, with a basic understanding of the contractual features and the administrative capabilities necessary to support this product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced levels of consultative support for the Worksite Whole Life (WWL) product and drive enhancements related to implementation processes to meet and enhance the satisfaction of our customers.
- Thoroughly investigate and respond promptly to elevated participant and/or group customer escalations.
- Coordinate with Product Owner to prioritize and implement new or revised processes, procedures, and initiatives as part of the Agile Delivery Model.
- Take projects from original concept through final implementation providing Product expertise. Must understand and be able to coordinate internal infrastructure to support product changes, including following new product enhancements through GPS process, as applicable.
- Help maintain policies and procedures for Whole Life and promote adherence to internal process and compliance with external state and federal regulation through clear and consistent communications and oversight.
- Partner with Communication and Engagement Lead to update/develop marketing collateral, training materials and job aids.
- Act as relationship manager/liaison with external builder of WWL on Selerix, including audits and testing of Selerix enhancements.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- High school degree and 5+ years’ experience including strong knowledge of other Group Life or Worksite Products.
· Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. Ability to evaluate risks and benefits and come to decisive, workable solutions.
· Proven ability to produce results through others.
· Ability to multitask multiple unrelated deliverables and set and re-evaluate priorities based on demands.
· Strong written and verbal skills with ability to translate and communicate technical and sometimes complex insurance concepts.
- Proficient with Microsoft office software.
Preferred:
· Bachelor’s Degree and prior implementation experience.
