The Role:

The Marketing consultant will lead and manage Group Benefit employee-facing integrated marketing campaigns, foundational pitch slides and 2,000+ marketing communication assets. The candidate will also cross train to assist in managing strategic-cross functional email and direct mail campaigns that are designed to increase engagement and retention efforts with employees and policyholders.

This person must be strategic, analytical, results oriented and required to work with teams that develop comprehensive, end-to-end marketing strategies for US Group Benefits’ eligible employees and enrolled participants to achieve strong and profitable acquisition, loyalty, and retention.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Partner with teams within US Employee Marketing and MetLife Product teams to maintain creative assets & messaging that supports the Group Benefits marketing objectives:

o A&H, Dental, Disability, Life, Pet, Vision, Aura, MetLife Legal Plans, HS&SA, Multiproduct, Federal, SEO, MetLife.com, etc.

· Lead contact for all marketing legal submissions and review; maintain asset inventories, update legal numbers; oversee all footnotes/disclaimers and ensure pieces are compliant 

· Manage all required state filings for Group Benefits marketing; assign identification numbers, submit all necessary documentation, and track all filings with appropriate teams 

· Direct outside vendors and agency to ensure all collateral and digital pieces are updated correctly and within scheduled timeframes

· Support the Communications and Engagement Leads (CEL) and internal sales/customer relationship teams with ad hoc legal, compliance and asset requests for marketing materials/campaign execution and updates

· Collaborate with marketing technology (HighSpot, MSMS, RedOak etc.), legal/compliance, sales and other marketing teams as needed

· Upload assets to Highspot (Market enablement repository) and find new innovated ways to showcase assets for our customers

· Maintain, update and publish a monthly inventory spreadsheet utilized by the product teams

· Track asset utilization via reporting from Highspot and proactively propose modifications and the retirement of exact assets


 Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

·   Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively

·   Strong influencer skillset across a broad spectrum of stakeholders

·   Deep understanding of relevant current business initiatives and challenges within financial services organizations

·   Proven experience effectively communicating with both sales teams, business executives, and technical audiences, with the ability to drill into technical detail as needed

·   Superior written and presentation skills

·   Strategic thinker with the ability and the skill set to see the bigger picture as well as understand the details of campaigns

·   Advisory and consultative skillset to provide guidance to our content authors and contributors to improve how we share content

·  Ability to work well with geographically remote teams and lead through influence

·  5+ of marketing experience (preferred)

·  High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred




The salary range for applicants for this position is 73,000 - 92,000.
