HR Digital Solutions Learning & Development (L&D) Process Advisor

Role Value Proposition: 

As a member of MetLife’s HR Digital Solutions Process & Operations team, reporting to the Director, HR Digital Solutions Process & Operations, the HR Digital Solutions L&D Process Advisor will be responsible for creating, monitoring, maintaining, and continuously improving  the team’s L&D processes. This role will also manage the L&D administrative processes related to our L&D tools and their use across MetLife, collaborating  with the L&D and HR Supplier and Process Management teams to ensure that processes align and integrate with broader HR and enterprise-wide L&D initiatives.. In support of MetLife’s New Frontier strategy, this role will focus on process excellence in managing the operations and administration of key L&D systems. Success in this role requires strong partnership across HR Digital Solutions, L&D teams, external learning service providers, and MetLife’s Global Technology organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with the HR Digital Solutions and L&D teams to guide and oversee the overall processes and operations.

·       Serve as a consultant and essential partner across the HR Digital Solutions and L&D organizations offering proactive and objective guidance on both new and existing processes where operational and process expertise is crucial.

·       Collaborate with the HR Digital Solutions leadership team to oversee the efficient and effective operation of L&D systems, ensuring they meet performance, compliance, and risk management standards.

·       Manage L&D operational and administrative processes related to L&D systems and tools.

·       Participate in cross-functional initiatives, projects and programs to expand network and sphere of influence.

·        Collaborate with both internal and external support teams to ensure that routine operations and cyclical activities are properly resourced and supported.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications):

  • Consulting Skills: Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, with the ability to translate business needs into effective process and operations solutions.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Lead with credibility in a complex, global, and highly matrixed environment to manage both internal and external stakeholders, secure alignment, and advance work by collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong understanding of HR and L&D processes, HR technology platforms, including best practices and current and emerging trends.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and support business objectives while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Communications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain influential relationships at all levels of the organization and articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Agility: Experience delivering high-impact results in fast-paced, matrixed organizations with shifting priorities and complex internal/external stakeholder networks. 

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in an operational capacity for a global HR Digital Solutions team, a L&D team or other global HR function combined with experience in process development and/or business process reengineering.
  • Experience working with learning management systems, learning content development tools or other L&D systems.
  • Strong comprehension of L&D functions and processes.
  • Experience with process automation and optimization.

  • Primary stakeholders include: HR Digital Solutions team, Global L&D team, HR Supplier and Process Management team, HR Service Delivery teams, HRBP community, GT (IT) Partners, 3rd party providers
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $134,700. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
