Role Value Proposition: 

This full-time position is responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to MetLife's Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and Execution, Enterprise Relationship Management and Next Gen Ventures. The hiring manager reports to the CEO, so this position requires regular engagement and coordination with the support staff of the Office of the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

This position requires a proactive attitude, forward-looking mindset and enthusiasm for being an integral part of the team and workflow.

The candidate must be highly responsive, flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, show great attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to plan ahead as well as prioritize workload in a changing environment.  This individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.  The individual is expected to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a high level of discretion and professionalism.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Manage Microsoft Outlook calendar, inbox, and address books 
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings / conference calls; prepare related materials / correspondence; print materials
    • This includes organizing complex meetings with multiple internal and external senior level stakeholders (requiring coordination with their EAs)
  • Manage travel, calendar, expense reports, catering, maintain email distribution lists  
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls, routing calls as appropriate 
  • Respond to inquiries for information and provide follow-up on requests promptly to ensure resolution 
  • Handle confidential/sensitive information in a discreet manner
  • Arrange and coordinate complex travel itineraries 
  • Assist in coordinating materials distribution with great care for confidentiality and accuracy
  • Assist with supply ordering, moves, facilities requests, security requests, etc.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Extensive knowledge of PC equipment, software programs
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient/fluency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Highly professional in presence and communication skills (oral and written)
  • High School diploma / Desired Associate or Bachelor Degree
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
