The Team You Will Join

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain smooth working relationship with third-party administrators, local solution providers and internal partners. Negotiate complex domestic and overseas vendor contracts, contract standards and service level agreements. Monitor and measure vendor performance assessments in accordance with Service Level Agreements. Create and execute action plans to address underperformance. Partner with Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, Operations and other departments to develop or update contracts. Weigh costs, benefits and risks before recommending course of action. As account manager for Korea-based clients, develop working relationships with brokers and clients. Set up strategic renewal plan focusing on clients’ needs and capacities and conduct regular and ad-hoc broker/client meetings in Korean and English. Lead renewal discussions and negotiations with the brokers and clients in written and spoken Korean and English. Perform day-to-day communication in written and spoken Korean and English assisting with benefit inquiries, claims escalations, and urgent requests from brokers, clients, and members. Perform presentations and webinars in Korean for the new member onboarding. Create a Korean version of the company issued flyers, instructions, and policy documents. Translate the company web portal in Korean. Obtain new business opportunities by working with brokers.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience performing vendor management in the healthcare industry. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) -- must possess the following: Supporting internal and external partners on expatriate benefits and insurance business; Managing relationship with clients and brokers, focusing on sales and operations of international insurance business; Negotiating domestic and overseas vendor and client contracts, contract standards, strategic renewal offerings and service level agreements, applying underwriting methodologies for expatriate benefits products; Training vendors to cultivate unique operating model and organizational value; and Monitoring and managing medical cases involving health insurance claim processing and medical terms and codes.Fluency in written and spoken Korean required. 

 

The expected salary range for this position is $120,973.00 - $149,400.00. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
