This full-time position is responsible for providing administrative support for the MetLife Data & Analytics organization. Position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility and good judgement. This individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. The individual is expected to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Job Location: Must live within a commutable distance of the New York NY Or Cary NC Office
Hybrid: Monday Tuesday Thursday in office Preferred days
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
* Manage Microsoft Outlook calendar, inbox, and key contacts.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings / conference calls; prepare related materials / correspondence; print materials.
* Manage travel, expense reports, catering, meeting/events, distribution lists, etc.
* Respond to inquiries for information and provide follow-up on requests to ensure resolution.
* Handle confidential/sensitive information.
* Assist in the preparation and/or coordination of presentations, reports and spreadsheets by preparing and editing text, slides and other materials.
* Proactively prepare leaders for meetings, anticipating needs of the team on a daily basis.
* Prioritize and manage multiple assignments, following through on issues promptly and effectively.
* Provide other general administrative assistance and project support as needed.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
* 7+ years working as an Administrative Assistant or similar capacity.
* Ability to manage own performance independently and effectively, exhibiting excellent time management, strong organization and detail orientation.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and display high degree of integrity and judgement.
* Proficient/fluent in Microsoft Office programs.
* Highly professional in presence and communication skills (oral and written).
