Job Summary

  • Is a senior member in the Japan Technology Audit Team to support Japan/Asia IT audit head and serves as a coach/mentor/role model to elevate key skills of team members. 
  • Support IT risk assessment, audit planning, and management reporting activities.
  • Lead the execution of IT and Data related audits and build relationships with stakeholder.
  • Communicates with clarity, including abilities to share expectations and provide clear and concise feedback (written, visual, verbal).


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a high-level technical SME and lead teams to conduct IT audits.
  • Provide proactive management updates of audit plan, progress, and audit report with issues.
  • Partner with risk partners to ensure comprehensive and efficient risk coverage.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand the IT risk environment and share audit activities.
  • Drive experiments such as agile auditing, data analytics, and appropriate use of digital tools.


Requirements (Experience, Skills, Education)

  • ~10 years’ experience in IT field such as auditing, Information Security, risk or others.
  • Highly motivated for learning and continuous improvement with agility.
  • Hands-on experience in direct/project-based people management and development. 
  • Strong communications skills (English and Japanese.)
  • CISA, CIA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Technical knowledge of accepted best practices such as COSO, ITIL or COBIT.
  • Internal audit experience in the financial service industry.
  • Proficient with data analysis tools and techniques (Excel/Alteryx/PowerBI, Python...)
  • CPA (Japanese or US) or understanding of Generally Accepted Audit Standards, IIA Standards, SOX (or J-SOX), regulatory reporting and data governance experience.
