DutiesProvide critical subject matter and technical expertise. Responsible for providing an enterprise-wide framework for managing insurance and product risks. Maintain and update the pricing standards that outline the methodology and guiding principles to be used for pricing – the key financial measures used for management review of pricing practices and the processes and reports required to be filed by the pricing teams for product approval. Manage key risk processes, including pricing guidance updates and interpretations and thought leadership on existing and emerging risks and insurance disclosures in regulatory and public documents. Drive harmonization between pricing guidance and the embedded value reporting function within the Actuarial, as well as engage with senior management within Pricing, Finance and GRM. Collaborate with product and local risk teams to monitor, quantify and manage product portfolio risk, as well as communicate key product risks to senior management for appropriate level of exposure within appetite and provide independent analysis review to the Head of IPRM for product and case review queries.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and ten (10) years of experience performing actuarial duties related to the Asian insurance market. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) -- must possess the following: Performing product reviews and risk assessment for products in international markets, including regulatory regimes with capital requirements based on market consistent approach such Japan ESR / Korea K-ICS / China C-ROSS; providing written guidance and recommendation for developing pricing standards to enable the company to prioritize and utilize capital most efficiently presenting final risk assessment result to senior finance and global risk management; performing review and work with pricing models developed using actuarial software, such as Prophet and ability to code using Visual Basic Application (VBA), Python and SQL. Must possess Fellow of Society of Actuaries certificate.

The wage range for applicants for this position is $185,640.00 to $268,300.00 per Year. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. The expected salary range for this position is $185,640 - $268,300. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
