Role Value Proposition:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Java and React to lead a team of talented developers in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software applications. As a Lead, you will be responsible for technical leadership, mentoring team members, and driving the successful delivery of high-quality software products. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and guidance to the team, ensuring the implementation of best practices and industry standards. 
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant software applications using Java and React. 
  • Architecture: Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance. 
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards. 
  • Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering their growth and development. 
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative and effective solutions. 
  • Testing: Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes and practices. 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Skilled in software development using Java 
  • 4+ years of experience in front-end development using React/ Angular and backend development using Java Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and algorithms.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring software development teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred: 

  • 6+ years of experience in front-end development using React and backend development using Java Spring Boot or Node.js.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience in SQL or Oracle technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
