The Team You Will Join 
Third Party Activation and Development align under MetLife’s Workforce Engagement and Benefits Connectivity organization.  Supporting US group Business, we maintain relationships with HR Tech Firms and other contracted entities to monitor and meet KPIs, integrate products and API technology on benefits platforms, operationalize processes, and facilitate escalations to resolution.
 
The Opportunity 
Reporting to the Director of Entity Management, the Whole Life Entity Manager position offers a dynamic opportunity focused on both current and future platform development for VB products, with particular emphasis on Whole Life. 

They will be responsible for building and maintaining Third Party entity level platforms, supporting the growth of Whole Life business.    


Achieving success in this role demands strong project management, advanced knowledge of MetLife business requirements and capabilities, and experience in the group insurance industry.  The Whole Life Entity Manager will facilitate all aspects of TPE-level platform build and maintenance, identifying and resolving operational challenges to ensure effective platform solutions.  Strong partnership and collaboration across MetLife’s business units is critical to this role, fostering an environment where every team member’s input is valued and every viewpoint is considered.

  
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

Primarily responsible for assessing, building, and maintaining Whole Life product on Entity level platforms. Includes but not limited to: 

  • Evaluating opportunities, managing process development and leading the TPE onboarding of Whole Life platform integrations. 
  • Maintaining existing Whole Life platform builds, defining solutions around operational breaks and issue resolution, while ensuring transparency into status.
  • Lead the integrations by identifying appropriate resources needed, assigning individual responsibilities, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.  Hold team members accountable for delivering as committed and communicate status to all partners and leaders. 
  • Evaluating and/or recommending improvements to support ease of Whole Life integration and go to market strategies. 
  • Support entity specific API development, where applicable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

Required:

  • 7-10 years of related work experience; broad working knowledge of supported business functions, systems, processes, and procedures
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously, effectively handles multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience managing strategic projects
  • Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities 
  • Project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, advanced degree preferred
 
The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 - $130,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
