We are currently seeking a strong derivatives Analyst to join our dynamic team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage for both International and Domestic derivative trading desks
- Review trade valuation to ensure consistency across MII’s financial platforms
- Setup and maintenance of derivative instruments within MII’s platforms and databases
- Contribute to the development, analysis and testing of new models to support ongoing initiatives
- Produce regular valuation and analytics reporting related to derivatives positions
- Communicate collaboratively with front office, risk, settlements, and technology, to ensure accuracy of positions, and readiness for market events, or new regulations
- Conduct due diligence for research projects and investigations of a specialized nature as requested by senior management and external auditors
- Support the Collateral and Derivatives Settlement processes if needed
- Assist in the development of new systems’ capabilities to support expansion of international business and the related scope of derivatives products
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- 0-3 years of experience within derivatives operations
- Strong SQL database and VBA skills
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Risk-adverse mindsight in order to prioritize urgent action items
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or Mathematics
- Preferred derivatives product knowledge
- Preferred familiarity with valuations systems such as Murex, Blackrock Aladdin and Numerix
