Actuarial Graduate Intern 

The Actuarial Graduate Intern will gain valuable work experience through exposure to actuarial functions within MetLife. This intern will work directly with experienced actuaries in different areas of actuarial practice which may include pricing and product development, reserve calculations, actuarial modeling, financial analysis, asset liability management, or investments. The intern will contribute to a wide variety of exciting and interesting projects, present to leaders in the organization about their contributions, and engage in a variety of networking events throughout the summer.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 
  * Graduate of a bachelor’s degree program at the time of internship with an accredited college or university
* Preferred majors include actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, economics, accounting or other analytical/business-related majors
  * Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  * Strong mathematical and analytical skills 
* Strong computer/technical skills - Knowledge of Excel is required, knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R is preferred
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

Role Location(s): 
* New York, NY

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

The expected salary range for this position is 32-34/Hour.
