The Team You Will Join 
 
MetLife’s Accounts Payable (AP) organization plays a vital role in maintaining accurate, timely, and globally consistent financial operations. As a Financial Analyst, you will support key reporting and analytics that guide business decisions across the U.S. AP landscape. You will partner closely with AP leaders, senior finance managers, and external and internal stakeholders—gaining broad visibility while contributing to MetLife’s operational excellence.

How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
  • Support Accounts Payable operations across U.S. systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Monitor and help prevent duplicate payments; oversee invoice approval tracking and ServiceNow task queues. 
  • Manage quarterly vendor mailing processes and follow‑up.
  • Provide system, process, and troubleshooting support to AP end users (internal and external).
  • Serve as a team lead—providing training, guidance, and handling escalated customer issues. 
  • Compile and analyze AP performance metrics and operational dashboards.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to support internal customers and AP leadership. 
Required Skills:
  • 2–5 years of financial experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights for both financial and non‑financial audiences.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Accounts Payable experience strongly preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Electronic invoicing experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
  • Financial reporting experience.
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $54,100 - $72,100. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
