The Specialty Market Service process ensures fulfillment of both contractual and regulatory requirements to identify a customer's death and appropriately handle the closing of the customer account through death claim.

For Specialty Markets, designated TPAs are appointed to manage the above ask. The role requires for TPA's product eligibility data (Electronic Death Match is for Life Product only) to be matched against several sources of recordkeeping data thereby creating a match & accordingly filing the same. The sheet is then shared with TPAs who are then required to investigate and send responses to MetLife. Accordingly, the applications are updated.

Specialists are responsible for:

 

·       Deliver Pre-process/Process training for MGCC Operations

·       Design, update and maintain Training content

·       Training Needs Identification, Analysis, Planning Refresher training methodology and calendar

·       Update SOPs and Training documentation. Establish document control process

·       Partner with Operations to address training needs & review for effectiveness through planned review meetings
