Role Overview

MetLife is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to its digital and AI transformation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native software solutions while working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using modern technologies (Front-end, Back-end, APIs, Databases).
• Implement best practices for cloud, AI/Data, and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive digital transformation.
• Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience: 5+ years in application software development, cloud-native applications, and APIs
• Tech Stack: Java (Spring Boot), ReactJS, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Swift, React Native.
• Languages: Business proficiency in English; Japanese language is a plus.
• Other Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
