Job Scope


The incumbent will be responsible for implementing Risk & Compliance-related policies and ensuring support to non-financial/operational risk programs. The incumbent will also be responsible for collaborating with the first-line defense and escalating key matters to the risk committee for senior management oversight.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensuring proper implementation of anti-bribery & corruption and anti-money laundering policy.
  • Providing support to ensure compliance with the privacy and data protection policy.
  • Providing support for Non-financial Risk Assessment (NFRA) program implementation, workshop preparation and execution.
  • Providing support on compliance and risk-related data analytics.
  • Preparing, monitoring, testing plans and procedures
  • Testing, managing issues and ensuring proper implementation of action plans.
  • Ensuring proper monitoring of the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) program.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on Risk event reporting program, issue management and model risk programs.
  • Monitoring and updating relevant stakeholders on risk appetite statements.
  • Promoting risk culture and the three lines of defense model.
  • Ensuring support on regulatory change management.


Academic Qualification


  • Bachelors/Masters in Business Administration or any relevant discipline
  • Candidates who are partially/fully qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) or hold equivalent professional designation will be preferred. 


Relevant Experience


  • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in the financial industry or in any multinational company will be an adde advantage.
  • Insurance/Financial Industry experience will be an added advantage. 


Functional Competencies


  • Sound knowledge of Excel and good analytical skills are essential 

  • Python/R Programming knowledge will be an added advantage

  • Customer-centric with proactive & positive attitude

  • Analytical mindset and sound problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new concepts quickly

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Advanced skill in MS Office, particularly MS Excel

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and ability to work in a team.

  • Willing to travel within the country as per the company's needs.
