Key Responsibilities:
- Review initial information to determine the validity of claim;
- Identify the need of necessary claim documentation and request it officially;
- Contact with claimants directly to verify and complete the claim documents and to obtain the pertinent information necessary to act properly upon claims;
- Conduct correspondence with different medical and state institution to collect additional data and evidence;
- Consult with trusted medical advisors for expert claim evaluation;
- Maintain appropriate written records and different statements from treating physicians, legal advisors and other experts;
- Review all collected documentation carefully and check it for completeness and accuracy;
- Carry out additional investigation when suspects fraud or misrepresentation of facts;
- Perform final claim assessment and settle the claims with payment or rejection;
- Calculate the amount of the due benefits and authorize claim payments;
- Prepare denials and send official rejection letters;
- Set the claim reserves, monitors, adjusts and close them;
- Maintain claim database;
- Prepare different claims reports, related to claims and other reports on demand;
- Ensure effective risk management is taken into account in all day to day activities, in accordance with Mеtlife risk policies, and escalate any areas of concern to line manager and where appropriate Risk Management function.
To become our next colleague, you’ll have to bring to the table the following:
- Bachelor degree in Economics or humanities;
- Successful track record in a similar administrative position for at least 1-2 years;
- Very good knowledge of English;
- Demonstrated writing ability;
- Good technical and computer skills, including fluency in using Ms Office suite (Excel);
- Digital mindset, curious about technology and digitalization;
- Very good communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize and motivation to cope with high volume of work and see tasks accomplished;
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to process data with accuracy.
