The Agency Sales Leader role is essential for ensuring comprehensive MetLife Individual Protection and Group coverage across the country and for fostering a more secure future for our clients and business partners.

The Opportunity 

The Sales Area Leader recruits, trains, and develops new business, leading broker portfolio growth. This role is crucial at MetLife as the Channel significantly contributes to MetLife's growth. 

Success in this role requires positive energy, focus, persistence, and a methodical approach. It also demands enthusiasm for broker success at MetLife and enjoyment of working in a face-to-face environment.

The Sales Area Leader is responsible for training and developing the brokerage distribution and collaborating internally with key players to succeed in the role, in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

  • Lead a diverse team in terms of age, work experience, expectations
  • Create an inclusive culture and success driven
  • Oversee the Business of the channel
  • Manage different KPI´s
  • Develop strategic thinking, resilience and multi tasks capacity
  • Coordinate 2 supervisors and 14 salespeople


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Experience gained from working in the Financial Services sector 
  • Team leadership experience 
  • Educated to Bachelor degree level
  • Driving license 
  • Microsoft tools knowledge. 
  • Native Portuguese communicator 
  • English B1

  • Written and spoken English at business level
