Role Value Proposition 

MetLife is seeking a Specialist to join the Asia Procurement team. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence across supplier management, procurement systems, contract governance, and compliance reporting. The Specialist will partner closely with business leaders and cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient procurement operations, adherence to regulatory and corporate standards, and dedicated support for procurement activities in various Asian markets. Proficiency in one of the languages like Korean, Japanese, or Chinese is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement operations and risk controls.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with MetLife’s Third-Party Risk Management framework.
• Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics and spend analytics.
• Ensure sustainability and supplier diversity principles are upheld.
• Provide system insights and ensure full utilization of procurement platforms like SAP Ariba, Beeline.
• Ensure to provide services as helpdesk and system operator of 3rd party management system Beeline and other procurement related system to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with procurement systems such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, Envision, or Beeline would be ideal but not mandatory
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Korean languages
• Experience in multicultural environments and strong interpersonal skills.
