Role Overview

Join our diverse team and play a crucial role in the development of Quality Assurance capability, drive innovation and success in the insurance industry. 

Lead and drive quality assurance strategies, regression testing, and test automation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business and IT teams to define, execute, and enhance testing processes, ensuring high-quality software delivery. 

The ideal candidate will leverage automation frameworks, risk-based testing approaches, and best practices to optimize testing efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee business testing efforts, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional and regression testing.
• Develop, implement, and enhance test automation strategies, optimizing testing cycles and reducing manual effort.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to align testing efforts with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Manage and mentor junior testers, providing guidance and support in test case development and execution.
• Define and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.
• Perform impact analysis to identify areas requiring regression testing due to system enhancements or changes.
• Ensure proper integration of automated and manual testing within Agile or DevOps pipelines.
• Investigate, document, and track defects to resolution, working closely with development teams to enhance product quality.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users, gathering feedback, and ensuring alignment with requirements.
• Monitor and report test execution progress, key quality metrics, and risks to leadership.

The gross monthly salary starts from 2 200 €. 

The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience and will be discussed during the selection process.

Required skills

WHAT IS MUST

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including regression testing, automation, and test management.
• Strong experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for test data validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Fluent English language

WHAT IS NICE TO HAVE

• Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD integration.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive testing best practices.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications
• Knowledge of the insurance sector.
