Job Scope
MetLife Bangladesh has around 14,000 Financial Associates around the country who are the key to driving Life Insurance policy sales. Agency Distribution is the key channel of Life Insurance business in Bangladesh. MetLife Bangladesh currently has 252 agencies, 45 unit offices and 11 sales office. This role is primarily responsible for achieving sales targets through managing, guiding, and influencing the Branch Managers, Unit Managers and Financial Associates of the assigned agencies located anywhere in the country. The role requires implementing agency force management strategy and demonstrating leadership ability to manage a large sales team. The location of this position can be based anywhere in the country, most likely outside Dhaka.
Key Responsibilities
- The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring business growth and smooth operation of his/her assigned region or area.
- Preparing plans to ensure the source wise business targets are allocated properly.
- Maintaining liaison with different functions of business on regular basis and providing appropriate guidance to improve business performance.
- Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with the agency force to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Closely monitoring performance to ensure the execution of business dealings in an ethical manner.
- Driving and motivating agency force to proactively and continuously develop themselves to meet the changing needs of the business and adoption of new technology.
- Applying company standards and procedures, which facilitate the effective, disciplined, and consistent functioning of the agency force.
- Gaining people's commitment to achieve business objectives through clear communication of MetLife strategy and leadership styles.
- Promoting customer centricity to ensure greater customer experiences and achieving competitive advantage.
- Leading and motivating the agency force in his/her assigned territory.
- Ensuring agency forces are adequately trained on different company products and services to ensure customer satisfaction and subsequent improvement in return.
Educational Requirements
- Graduate/Masters in any discipline preferably with an MBA from any reputed university.
Required Experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution management.
- 2+ years of experience in a mid-level position preferably in Sales/ Marketing functions.
