The Team You Will Join
Audit & Compliance Coordinator will join EMEA Infrastructure team responsible for IT Infrastructure and IT Operations across countries within the EMEA region. This team play a vital role in delivering and maintaining technologies and infrastructure solutions to application development, as well as local and regional business stakeholders.
This position will report to Infrastructure Transformation Director and will retain a working relationship with infrastructure leads across EMEA.
The Opportunity
The Audit & Compliance Coordinator will oversee and coordinate audit and compliance activities within IT Infrastructure to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards across the EMEA region. Additionally, this position involves overseeing license management, lifecycle management, and asset management to ensure all resources are utilized effectively and according to MetLife’s regulatory guidelines. The coordinator will also provide detailed reports and recommendations, ensuring all processes align with MetLife’s strategic objectives. Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments are essential for success in this role.
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
As an audit & compliance coordinator:
- Act as the primary point of contact for audit requests related to IT infrastructure, security, and compliance.
- Gather, validate, and submit appropriate documentation and evidence in accordance with audit requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to address audit gaps or questions raised by auditors.
- Maintain strong communication channels with infrastructure leads and Audit team to streamline evidence collection and ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with Audit MAP and Risk Finding Owners to create and document detailed remediation and implementation plans to meet the required timelines.
- Monitor and drive the execution of remediation/implementation action plans to ensure timely and audit-compliant completion.
- Track and report on progress against milestones and deadlines.
- Work closely with remediation teams to develop closure evidence for Audit /Risks & Exceptions
- As needed facilitate regular meetings/contact with stakeholders to resolve roadblocks and maintain momentum.
- Accurately measure and report progress - highlighting any threats to a timely completion.
- Provide regular, standardised updates on the remediation status of MAPs and Risk Findings to local EMEA team and the wider risk management & controls team for Global Infrastructure.
- Support and coordinate control evidence gathering, uploading and monitoring activities for the Non-Financial Risk Assessment (NFRA) process.
- Collaborate closely with the Information Security (InfoSec) team to ensure infrastructure projects and compliance initiatives align with security best practices for MetLife and global regulatory requirements, fostering a strong cross-functional partnership both locally and globally.
As a license manager:
- Manage software license compliance across the organization.
- Track usage of software licenses to ensure alignment with purchased entitlements.
- Maintain accurate records of all licenses, including renewals, expirations, and vendor agreements.
- Optimize license costs by identifying unused or underutilized software.
- Coordinate with procurement, legal, and IT teams during audits or renewals.
As a lifecycle manager:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement.
- Define and implement policies for asset refresh, upgrades, and disposal.
- Ensure hardware and software are updated according to security and business requirements.
- Plan technology refresh cycles and budget forecasts.
- Coordinate with finance and procurement to optimize lifecycle costs.
As an asset manager:
- Maintain a central inventory of all IT Infrastructure assets (hardware and software).
- Track the location, status, and ownership of assets.
- Manage asset tagging and auditing processes.
- Support cost management through asset optimization.
- Collaborate with Service Desk, Procurement, and Security teams.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Knowledge of compliance and audit processes within infrastructure area
- Strong knowledge of software licensing models (per user, per device, subscription, etc.).
- Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) tools like Flexera, Snow, or ServiceNow.
- Understanding of vendor contracts (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in IT infrastructure and asset lifecycle planning.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and lifecycle methodologies.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to analyze aging assets and forecast replacement needs.
- Knowledge of sustainability and e-waste regulations is a plus.
- Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools and CMDB systems.
- Strong understanding of hardware (laptops, servers, network devices) and software tracking.
- Ability to create reports and dashboards on asset health and usage.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 19770-1:2017 or ITIL asset management standards.
- Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
