The MetLife EMEA Technology organization is evolving to enable MetLife’s New Frontier strategy. As part of Tech Talent Transformation (T3) agenda, MetLife is establishing a Technology Center in India. This technology center will perform as an integrated organization between onshore, offshore, and strategic vendor partners in an Agile delivery model.
We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous Software/Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in Salesforce technology to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that drive business value in a full CI/CD context.
Key Relationships:
Internal Stake Holder – EMEA ART Leader, ART Leadership team, India EMEA Technology AVP, and Business process Owners for EMEA Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Maintain clear documentation and provide support for deployed solutions
- Participate in peer reviews of solution designs, related code, and/or related SaaS and/or COTS configuration.
- Participates in the investigation and resolution of production management incidents, problems, and service requests (in partnership with SaaS providers for Platforms).
- Supports production applications/platforms (in partnership with SaaS providers for Platforms)
- Identifies innovative solutions to technical challenges
Education:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.
Technical Stack:
Salesforce Development
Proven expertise in Salesforce OmniStudio components.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, engaged mindset.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and external system integrations with secured patterns
Main Skill: Sales force developer with OmniStudio experience
