The Team You Will Join
The direct Sales Force Executives team is responsible for building new agencies for MetLife.
The Opportunity
The DSF represents MetLife, managing all aspects the Agency distribution business. A successful DSF spends a majority of their time with the agents/ agency leaders developing the business proactively to help coach, develop and grow the agency. This will extend to joint field work, client meetings and agency team meetings, gaining strong insights to performance and skill gaps and taking corrective actions to achieve annual plans.
A laser sharp focus on manpower and business growth, aligning the Agency Sales Force to the company’s strategy, implementing strategic initiatives to achieved the desired product mix, productivity, ratio, MAC and sale policy guidelines.
Full responsibility for sales quality and compliance protecting company’s brand and reputation, updating AE, AD and other key stakeholders of potential issues and taking appropriate action to mitigate the risk for the protection of clients and MetLife brand.
Leads and motivates the Agency Sales Force with conviction and proper attitude, removing any real or assumed barriers, to achieve budgeted objectives.
Able to analyze and switch priorities to achieve productivity, average premium, product mix, recruitment, development and the retention of the Agents /Ums, quality of sales, persistency, using data and other information to create a scorecard of measurable and qualitative KPIs related to the quality of the business and the sales force.

• Ability to work on cross-functional organisation initiatives to drive results and grow sales
• Strong Sales Management and Financial services experience
• Expert relationship building and collaboration
• Knowledge of Industry best practice
• Able to Participate in the field training, gaining the respect of the Agency
• Technically sound, able to explain to others the products, processes, sales policy and other technical information without error or fault.
• Understanding of training, coaching and other development techniques with knowledge of training platforms and access to other learning resources.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
• Minimum 5 years in sales management
• Experience in managing and supporting teams through data analytics, dealing with complexities to drive sales results and adhere to appropriate metrics
