The Team You Will Join
You will be handling Agency Administrator (Agency Admin) duties in one of MetLife sales offices located in Amman.
The Opportunity
The Agency Admin is responsible for managing the sales center operationally in addition to handling cash transactions and building records over the systems. Agency Admin will provide support and services to the walk-in customers and the agents in the sales center as well by delivering high level services. Due to the nature of Agency Admin duties, he/ she is considered as the contact point between sales agents and main office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an international company that supports future development and growth in addition to working with professional teams who have vast knowledge and experience.
Success in this role requires one to two years’ experience/ excellent managerial skills/ very good knowledge in dealing with cash/ intermediate level in using excel/ very good level in English (writing and speaking). The Agency Admin is responsible for keeping business running without interruptions. You’ll collaborate closely with MetLife departments at the main office in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead high level services to walk-in customers and sales agents.
- Create records over systems.
- Oversee correct issuance for cash receipts and daily cash reconciliation.
- Manage running business in sales center operationally without interruption, handling incoming and outgoing couriers, handling cash collection and issuing related receipts in addition to daily cash deposit at bank, handling calls to/ from the customers and sales agents as well.
- Agency Admin will develop his insurance knowledge through learning opportunities, will develop experience in dealing with various sales agents, will develop his communications skills and managing time effectively.
- Agency Admin will coordinate between sales agents and all departments in the main office.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- If required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance/ business administration
- [intermediate level in using excel, intermediate English level (writing and speaking, good presentation skills, using Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Presentable, positive attitude and behavior.
- Friendly attitude and having very good personality.
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- Suggested One to Two years of experience in dealing with customers/ cash handling/ services.
- Using excel with intermediate level is a must.
- ability to deal with walk-in customers and sales agents, ability to manage time effectively, ability to manage running sales office operationally without interruption, ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work with a team.
