The Team You Will Join
The General Ledger Accountant/Senior Accountant will join a team of 5 people, working in Warsaw Poland. You will work closely with your other Centre of Excellence team members ensuring the correct Transfer pricing of costs of the Service entities across the world of MetLife.
The Opportunity
The Accountant/Senior Accountant is responsible for accounting of various events taking place in the Service companies and its correct transfer pricing to the recipient. This process allows MetLife to hire the best resources in the market but make sure that every country is paying its fair share. Exposure of this position can open various further career possibilities within the world of MetLife.
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Accounting of payroll, Fixed assets, reclasses and prepayments/accruals
- Taking part in the month end closing process according to the corporate calendar
- Preparation of monthly cost analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Verification of cost allocation
- Support in internal and external reporting (Statistical offices, Tax authorities, auditors)
- Cooperation with multiple stakeholders
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Business level Polish speaker (min) plus English language proficiency both oral and written (min. B2)
- BA in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- 2-3 Years of experience in the similar field (4+ for Senior)
- Solid knowledge of Excel
- Motivated team player
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- Knowledge of People Soft, nice to have
- Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA, nice to have
