MetLife is offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our digital and AI transformation journey. We are seeking experienced Data engineers to drive the transformation that will enable business results.

The Data engineer will be responsible for design and development of data solutions such as building data platform components, modernizing storage, transformation and access of data using data platforms and consumption of data using API’s.

Responsibilities - 

•    Build modern data platform/lake components on cloud.

•    Analysis and design of data pipelines that bring in various internal and external data into the data lake in the cloud based on the business use case.

•    Design and development of data marts that make large volumes of data from the data lake accessible to business analysts and data scientists.

•    Deliver solutions in an agile delivery model.

•    Implement transformation and data quality rules using modern transformation tools and languages for data to conform to enterprise guidelines.

•    Deep understanding of various stages of data model in the data platform (medallion architecture) etc. and implement it accordingly.

•    Ways of Working – Adoption of the Agile ways of working in the software delivery lifecycle and continuous learning of new methods and technology
