You will join the sales team led by Luigi Lupoli and based in the Northern Region
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and consolidating the relevant distribution channel (ref. Individual policies and Group policies in the employee benefits area), to increase the penetration rate. They are also responsible for driving the sales of individual products through commercial agreements with small and medium-sized brokers, agents and sub-agents, located in the territories within their remit in the Northern Region
- Grow the customer portfolio (brokers, agents and sub-agents) and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Develop contacts with clients, increasing the penetration index in the territory through actions aimed at developing new business.
- Set individual budgets for sales networks and carry out periodic monitoring for each channel, proposing and implementing any improvement or corrective actions.
- In coordination with the Marketing and Products teams, assess the potential of business areas and periodically monitor competitors.
- If required, support commercial partners in conducting particularly delicate or complex negotiations, drafting specific commercial proposals.
- Collaborate with channel staff to increase the effectiveness of commercial actions in the territory.
- Degree, preferably in Economics or related disciplines.
- At least 4–5 years’ previous experience in the role, gained within structured insurance companies or multinationals.
- Excellent knowledge of the main IT systems and the Office suite, especially Excel and Access.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong initiative, proactivity, determination and dynamism.
- Ability to work to targets, with a strong results orientation.
- Strong commercial aptitude, especially in a B2B environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage work autonomously.
- Valid driving licence (Category B).
- Strategic vision of the business.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
