Role Value Proposition:  

The IAM and Cloud Security Lead Consultant will integrate MetLife in Romania as part of the EMEA Information Security team and be responsible under limited supervision, to provide key subject matter expertise, oversight and/or execution of MetLife Information Security Program in EMEA.

 

A successful candidate should be able to drive needed processes and controls in order to ensure the security of MetLife systems and cloud infrastructure in EMEA. Candidate will work closely with the global security team to develop, implement, and maintain robust security measures, respond to security vulnerabilities, and provide expert guidance on security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

The IAM and Cloud Security Lead Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and implement appropriate IAM architecture and processes for securing the environments;
  • Conduct security assessments and reviews to identify vulnerabilities and risks;
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures;
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security practices into the DevSecOps pipeline;
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing thorough documentation and recommendations for improvement;
  • Stay up to date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our defenses remain robust;
  • Lead security projects, including the deployment of new security tools and technologies;
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior security team members.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field;
  • Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Cloud+, CCSK, or equivalent;
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security tools;
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning security concerns;
  • Proficiency in security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the EMEA region;
  • Ability to transparently execute against plan;
  • Good analytical and report presentation skills;
  • Very good English language skills, both oral as well as written; additional languages knowledge preferred;
