■Job Summary

The Strategy Planning & Project Delivery role supports the Infrastructure Services Group by helping plan, organize, and oversee key activities across the organization. This position works with various teams to create clear goals, track progress, and ensure that projects and initiatives move forward smoothly. It also handles budgeting and financial planning, prepares reports for leadership, and helps coordinate responses to audits and compliance requirements.

In addition, the role supports vendor-related activities and works with internal partners to improve processes and strengthen overall operational efficiency. Through clear communication and effective coordination, this position helps ISG stay aligned with business priorities and deliver work in an organized and consistent way.


Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic and Tactical Planning:

Define and execute long‑term strategies and short‑term tactics, set KPIs/OKRs, and align project delivery with organizational goals supported by accurate financial forecasting.

 

  • Manage Project Portfolio:

Oversee complex, multi‑project programs and provide timely, structured reporting to executives and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive issue escalation.

 

  • Project Initiation & Executive Reporting:

Initiate new projects by defining scope, objectives, timelines, and governance, and deliver concise, executive‑level reporting to support informed decision‑making.

 

  • Audit and Compliance Response:

Serve as the primary point of contact for audit and compliance activities, including non‑financial risk assessments and remediation tracking.

 

  • Drive Financial & Operational Excellence:

Manage budgets and forecasts, conduct financial planning cycles, and engage stakeholders—including executive leadership—in budgeting and financial performance discussions.

 

  • Vendor Strategy Planning & Execution:

Develop, update, and execute vendor strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including performance evaluations, partnership optimization, and contract strategy.

 

A people manager is responsible for guiding and supporting team members by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. 


Requirements (Experience, Skills, Education)

  • Proven experience leading project initiation and governance, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria for large, cross‑functional initiatives.

 

  • 10+ years in strategy, project management, PMO, or technology planning, with a track record of overseeing multi‑project portfolios and partnering with senior executives.

 

  • Strong executive reporting capability — able to produce concise, structured reports and presentations, synthesize complex data into clear insights, and manage proactive issue/risk escalation.

 

  • Advanced financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and interpreting financial/operational metrics to inform decisions.

 

  • Hands‑on experience with audit, compliance, or risk‑management processes, including coordinating assessments, tracking remediation, and ensuring adherence to governance standards.

 

  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management, aligning IT, Finance, Risk/Compliance, Procurement, and external partners to drive outcomes and resolve conflicts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field


Preferable 

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Japanese preferred
