Job Scope
Key Responsibilities
- Adjudicate death, living, MiB and group medical claims efficiently while maintaining policy guideline and ensuring accuracy.
- Calculate and book claim reserves for death claims (failed cases in CLiCS) under different life insurance policies in CMS.
- Prepare Intimation Reports of Death Claims for reconciliation purpose.
- Resolve and follow up the complex scenarios in pre- eligibility issues (created for system limitations) through interdepartmental coordination with Customer Service, Policy Service Delivery, Accounts, IT and Legal departments.
- Attend to customers directly regarding various claims related queries, conduct regular follow-ups for claims settlement and communicate through emails, phone calls and letters as required.
- Post declined death claims accounting transactions in the LifeLine system, ensuring precision and avoid any financial loss to the company.
- Fulfill Finance department's requirements by taking appropriate actions for policy suspense items aged over 6 months, those exceeding the 90 Days threshold amount & UME items.
- Validate the EFT Payment batches for the death claims and update workflows in CMS accordingly.
- Provide required data for RBCT, ORM and BCP purposes, as well as for Actuarial investigations, reporting-based requirements and claim information for DPS C&D Out of Force next steps, DPS OOF lapsation etc.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for CLiCS upgrades and contribute to the development of new products projects.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor/Master's degree from any reputed university.
Relevant Experience
- Any exposure or experience in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
